Day Four



Nothing too exciting to report for today. I did feel the need to eat something a little more substantial then fruit monomeals, so I had a salad of mixed greens and spinach with a tomato squeezed over the top for one meal.

Almost forgot to mention... I was in bed before 10:30 last night. Then the phone rang at something like five after midnight. It was Bob on the other end saying he couldn't sleep and he thought I would still be up. By the time I got him off the phone I was awake enough that it took me until after 1:30 AM to fall back asleep, and then there was a loud cracking noise in the room that woke me up at 2:00 on the dot. By then the high winds (gusts up to 55 mph) had died down and I was able to get back to sleep fairly quickly and slept well the rest of the night. Got up around 8:30... when Bob called me again!

I'm busy cleaning out drawers. Detoxing them, so to speak!

B = 2 bananas
L = mixed greens salad
S = 2 leaves cabbage
D = green smoothie (bananas/fr. mango/water/spinach/spirulina) with 1 Tbsp. Royal Jelly

question: where do you get your spirulina and is there a particular brand you recommend?

Hi Keda!

Bob got our Earthrise Spirulina Natural Dietary Supplement from the local health food store, Raisin Rack. I'm pretty sure you could get it from Whole Foods or Wild Oats, too.
